Patricia Lynn Larson was born in Peoria, Illinois on
December 14, 1958. At the age of three, she moved with her
family to Dayton, Ohio. One of five girls, she grew up as
the middle child, always knowing that she would some day be
an artist. Pat graduated from Wayne High School in 1977,
receiving an art scholarship from her high school art
teachers. She attended Sinclair Community College and
received an Associate Degree in Commercial Art Technology.
Her career began I the advertising department at Rike’s as
she continued her art education in an independent study at
the University of Dayton, and earned a Bachelor’s in
Business Management at Antioch McGregor. As she worked her
way up in the commercial art field, Pat became an Art
Director and then a Creative Director, working I Cincinnati
for custom software and performance improvement companies.
Her experience lays in graphic design, graphical user
interface design, advertising and marketing. Pat has
received many art awards, and her design work has been
featured in Print’s Best Corporate Publications. Recently,
Pat started creating and selling her own original fine art
exclusively through Alley Fine Art / Framing. You can choose
from one of her oils displayed, or commission her to design
custom artwork for your home or office that complements your
décor and available wall space. Years of experience devoted
to creating designs for corporate clients have enabled her
to customize fine artwork to fit homes and lifestyles. Pat’s
art shows her maturity as an artist. Although versed in many
styles, she gravitates toward modern contemporary, and uses
color to its fullest. “I believe art is both visual and
emotional. A painting can add texture, color and change how
you feel in a room,” states Pat. “My goal is to affect
others through my art. When leaving this world, I want to
leave beauty, enjoyment and passion for the creative.
Hopefully, through my art, a part of me will exist for
generations to come.
